- נטגן את הבצל עד להזהבה
- נוסיף את הפרגיות עם המרינדה ונמשיך בטיגון עד שכל הפרגיות משנות את הצבע אבל לא מוכנות לגמרי.
- מוסיפים את שאר הירקות והתבלינים מכסים במים ומביאים לרתיחה.
- לאחר כ 15 דק (יכול להיות יותר) נבדוק את ירקות השורש, במידה והם כמעט מוכנים – נוסיף את הפתיתים ולא נערבב הרתיחה כבר תערבב את הטעמים.
- נוסיף מים לכיסוי הפתיתים ועוד קצת ונבדוק את התיבול.
- לאחר כ 10 דק נבדוק את הפתיתים ונוסיף מעט מים במידת הצורך.
כאשר הפתיתים מוכנים – נוציא את הסיר מעל הגחלים ונעביר בזהירות בעזרת כף את הפתיתים לקערה, כך נוכל להגיש לילדים צלחת עם בשר עוף ולצידו פתיתים. (ולא ערבוביה של אוכל)
שימו לב! – להימנע מערבוב האוכל בפויקה ככל הניתן, ולאחר הוספת הפתיתים לא מערבבים כלל!
